Photograph taken in India at Christmas, 1973. Dr. Stone wrote of this outfit on the photo: "The robes were specially made to order by tailors of the old Rajahs in Jaipur. They are so dignified and comfortably warm for meditation in this cold weather here this year. The cap is also a specially designed royal gift to me.... It is of heavy fur with a gold top and trimmings. It comes from Kathmandu in Nepal on the Chinese border. This is an unusual combination I could not show or wear anywhere else....
